The PIBCO LTD. R&D Centre has developed the Quality Manual for its Testing Laboratory which is the working document for use by the Testing Laboratory personal. It is essential for achieving and sustaining the critical quality standards. It provides the timely services and testing facilities to all its customers in its field of activities The Quality Manual lays down the Quality Policy and s,ets out the system and practices that the Laboratory uses to implement and monltor conformance with the policy. It describes the Quality functions and responsibilities for effective co-ordination and its smooth and purposeful functioning. The specific responsibilities of the overall management are outlined under the Authorisation.

The management certifies that this Quality Manual accurately, and adequately describes the Objectives, Quality Management Programmes and hereby authorises the Manua1 as a Mandatory requirement of the Testing Laboratory, which will achieve and maintain a high standard of quality in all aspects of the work of the Testing" Lanboratory of the R&D Centre to pruvide to the entire satisfaction of the clients, services of the Testing Laboratory for its regular functionng with the recognised Standards and Practices such as formulated by the NABL criteria for the Testing Laboratory Accreditation Manual.

The instructions contained in this Quality Manual are intended for the guidance of all its employees especially the Technical personnel working in the Laboratory. Based on experience gained, the instructions give pertinent information to assist personnel, to achieve the specified degree of performance and effeciency, as per NABL Criteria for the Testing Laboratory Acreditation.

The Manual will be reviewed regularly depending upon its effectiveness as revealed through periodical evaluation, audit and feed-back information. Necessary revisions will be issued as and when required and Intimated to the concerned organisation/personnel.
